About us
The Berlin Wrestling Club EINSTEIGER is an open, non-profit, amateur (olympic) freestyle wrestling group. We are Germany's only gay inclusive wrestling club, so we welcome gay, bi and straight people with little or no wrestling experience as well as trained freestylers and collegiate wrestlers. Any adult is welcome to join and practice with us. Our training programme is geared towards wrestlers of all levels from total novice to trained freestylers.

Training
Our training sessions are held on tuesdays and thursdays from 19:00h to 21:00h, and on saturdays from 16:00h to 19:00h in a large gym with wrestling mats in Berlin-Neukölln. Practice goes by the following format:
· Warm up and stretching
· Basic wrestling drills and strengthening exercises
· Wrestling moves instruction and practice
· Open wrestling (open mat))

What to wear
Keep it simple, when you're new to wrestling. For your first moves you don't need a singlet. Just wear a T-shirt, gym shorts and clean sneakers. Don't forget to bring a towel and some water.

Our gym in Berlin-Neukölln is equipped with professional wrestling mats, locker rooms and showers.
